These principles describe how we handle personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Article 1 — Introductory information

1.1 The controller of personal data is David Kleňha (the "Controller"), operator of the jazztrio.cz website and provider of live music production.

1.2 We process personal data only to the necessary extent and for the necessary period, transparently and in accordance with the GDPR.

1.3 The Controller has not appointed a data protection officer; in all matters you can contact the Controller directly using the contacts above.

Article 2 — Categories of data processed

2.1 Through the enquiry form on the website we process the data you provide yourself:

• First and last name
• E-mail address
• Phone number (optional)
• Event details — type of event, date, venue, requested scope and line-up
• Message / notes you write to us yourself

2.2 Technical data about your visit (IP address, device type, browser) may be processed automatically through cookies — only with your consent (see Article 7).

Article 4 — Recipients of personal data

4.1 Personal data may be passed, to the necessary extent, to the following categories of recipients (processors):

• Web3Forms (provider of the form-sending service) — to deliver the content of the enquiry form to our e-mail.
• Google LLC — for analytics and measuring website effectiveness (Google Analytics, Google Ads), only with the consent you give in the cookie bar.
• The e-mail and web hosting provider.
• Accounting and tax adviser — to meet legal obligations.
• Public authorities to the extent of legal obligations.

Article 5 — Transfer to third countries

5.1 When using the services of Google LLC (and possibly Web3Forms), some technical data may be transferred outside the EU, in particular to the USA. The transfer takes place under the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 and 46 GDPR.

Article 6 — Retention period

6.1 We keep personal data only for the period strictly necessary for the given purpose, see the table in Article 3. After this period the data is securely erased or anonymised.

Article 7 — Cookies

7.1 The website uses cookies in three categories:

• Essential cookies — necessary for the operation of the website and to store your consent choice. They cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — help measure traffic and improve content. Activated only with your consent.
• Advertising cookies (Google Ads) — measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. Activated only with your consent.

7.2 You give cookie consent in the bar shown on your first visit. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookies" link in the website footer. The website uses so-called Consent Mode, so without consent no analytics or advertising cookies are stored.

Article 8 — Photos and videos from events

8.1 The gallery on the website may show photos and videos from events that have taken place. We publish such materials only with the consent of the people captured in them, or on the basis of a legitimate interest when capturing a public performance.

8.2 If you do not wish a specific photo or video to be published, contact us and we will remove the material without delay.

Article 9 — Security

9.1 We have adopted appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Data is transferred from the website over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

Article 10 — Your rights

10.1 In connection with the processing of personal data you have the following rights:

• the right of access to your data;
• the right to rectification of inaccurate data;
• the right to erasure (the "right to be forgotten");
• the right to restriction of processing;
• the right to data portability;
• the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• the right to withdraw consent at any time (e.g. by changing cookie settings);
• the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Data Protection Authority (uoou.gov.cz).

Article 11 — Exercising your rights

11.1 You can exercise your rights by e-mail at info@davidklenha.cz or in writing at the contact address. We will handle your request without undue delay, within one month at the latest.

Article 12 — Final provisions

12.1 We may update these principles; the current version is always available on this page. We will announce any material changes in an appropriate manner on the website.

These principles take effect on 1 January 2026.
